Catherine Palace in Pushkin

Tsarskoye Selo is a former Russian residence of the imperial family and visiting nobility, located in the suburbs of St. Petersburg. It is now part of the town of Pushkin.

Created for two centuries by many prominent architects, the unique architectural ensemble of Pushkin is world famed for its elegant palaces and pavilions, landscape parks and ponds, 18-century marble statues and historic obelisks. This “town of Muses” inspired many celebrated Russian poets, painters and musicians to create their renowned masterpieces in music and art.

In Catherine Palace you will find the world famous Amber Room.

The approximate time of getting to Pushkin from the city center by car is 45 minutes. The whole excursion to this suburb including back transfer will take 4-5 hours.

Catherine’s Palace open: 10:00 – 17:00. Closed on Tuesday and on the last Monday of every month.
